We are on the verge of April Break and spirits are high in Room 10! We were happy to wrap-up our biographies today! We have been working hard learning about the genre of biographies. We have discussed why biographies are written and the identified the type of information that all biographioes include. After this inspiration, we partnered up with a classmate and, knowing the information that should be in a biography, came up with questions to ask our partners. After this process, we wrote our first drafts in our Thinkbooks. We have been reviewing revision strategies and once our work was revised for capital letters, proper punctuation, spacing between our words, neat handwriting, and word wall words spelled correctly, we began final drafts on lined paper. Some of us were done early so we were able to use our brand new second grade laptops to begin typing our biographies! We are very happy to have access to technology in our room as we explore a variety of ways to "publish" our work!
Have a fantastic break everyone! Mrs. Hunton
